Place an order
Once you have decided to use our shipping to Malaysia services, place an online order. Please ensure that you have given both UK & Malaysia addresses together with the contact numbers & email address. You will receive an automatic Purchase Order email. Please check your email!
Minimum charge
A minimum charge of £40 need to be paid into our bank account before we can proceed with your bookings. This is required to reserve space for the shipment (even though you are using your own cartons) but don’t worry as this amount will be deducted from your final balance.
Cartons & Documents Delivery
Once we have received the minimum charges, we will then deliver cartons (if you choose our carton option) and documents required for customs clearance by UPS. Delivery will take between 2 - 3 working days. Express 1 day delivery is available at an additional charge of £10.
Packing your items
Please ensure that all items are properly packed, sealed & can be lifted easily by one person. Maximum weight for each item is 35 kgs. An additional charge of £1 per kg is chargeable thereafter. Remember that packing is a matter of common sense. Do not overload individual items. Use an extra carton instead. Should you prefer to use your own carton, please ensure it is a double wall carton. We have the right not to accept items which are not suitable for shipment.
Collection
Our prices include free collection on the last week of the month (weekdays). Collection is available at any other time (weekdays only) at an additional charge of £10 per item (to cover part of courier charges) should you required one. Additional storage charge of 10% from the cartons sales will also apply should you request special collection before the 20th to cover part of the storage costs. Please contact our member of staff to arrange for this special collection.
Final Check
Please have declaration form, transit insurance form & photocopy of the ID page of your passport ready upon collection. Items must be ready on the ground floor before the driver arrives. We will try to give a call or text half an hour before arrival for you to bring the items to the ground floor. Otherwise an additional charge from £1 per cubic feet will apply should the driver needs to collect above ground floor. If the items are not ready when the driver arrives, an additional charge of £5 per half an hour will apply.
Payment
Invoice can either be paid by UK cheque on the collection day or transferred online to our UK bank account within 5 days after collection. Failing to settle the payment within the required time may result in your items being kept in the warehouse and miss the shipment. An additional storage charges will also apply.
Items in Transit
It will take 4 weeks for your items to reach Port Klang and another 1 – 2 weeks (Peninsular Malaysia) or 2-3 weeks (East Malaysia) for the delivery to your door. The estimated time taken from the time we collect your belongings (standard collection period) to the time it is delivered to your doorstep in Malaysia is 6 - 8 weeks.
Disribution
When your items arrive in Port Klang, our representative will be in touch with your representatives in Malaysia to inform you of the estimated date and timing of the delivery. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery. Unavailability will result in your items being kept in the warehouse and incur re-delivery charges. Delivery to your door in Peninsular Malaysia depends on your locations in our distribution routes which are KL-Selangor-Perak-Penang-Kedah-Perlis-Kelantan-Terengganu-Pahang-Negeri Sembilan-Malacca-Johore.
